ABOUT Airwerks Racing Team

Founded in 2017,by Khalid bin Hadher-the Bicycle Shop located on Al Wasl Road has always been about connecting and empowering the community. From the start Mr Khalid bin Hadher has always supported ambitious athletes that have been part of the community. 

in 2020, Mr Khalid Bin Hadher had the vision to further support the community and grow and support their abilities in cycling. In turn the Airwerks Racing Team has formed and has since grown to be a successful competitor in UAE Racing Scene. 

Since 2022 the team has established itself as  one of the main competitors of the local scene, competing in the highest category of racing in the region, winning multiple races and competitions. The team has a very successful 23/24 campaign including many podiums at the Al Salam Championship and claiming the UAE Federation Title for the 2nd year in a row. For 24/25, the team is further professionalizing itself with the support of Mr Khalid Bin Hadher. 

In order to further grow our team, we are always looking for new sponsors to support us on our journey. With a very high visibility and recognition in the UAE and regional cycling scene, we are able to give your brand visibility and convey your values within our ever growing community. Moreover, the sport has also sparked the interest of His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who has established various ways to further growth the sport of cycling in the country, as seen with the introduction of various cycling tracks and paths throughout the city of Dubai. Subsequently, as the UAE is very hands-on in strongly encouraging a healthier lifestyle for all its citizens, cycling is predicted to see further significant growth in the country, for many years to come.
